Something about the band from this world perspective?
Dragon’s Fuel is a group of characters from the Novi Sad music scene who appear to be as different as much as they are alike. Vojislav Savkov (tenor sax) has travelled South America and The East through the mind and body of a spiritual traveler. He shares his experiences through words, preachers, music and the meditative presence of his being. Marko Čurčić (bass guitar) is trapped in the 70s. Man-Blues. His old rock’n’roll soul has time-traveled to the present to remind us of the golden age of music. The screams of Predrag Okiljević (tenor sax) are as precise as his music commentary. He is a well versed in Music and Matter, laywer by profession and a man of mystery. Lav Kovač (drums) might seem like a hard-core professional, but is actually a complete amateur. With an impulsive inner reactions to every emotional impression, he is a child acting as an adult, but refusing to grow up inside. Together they are Dragon’s Fuel, Novi Sad sonic mess, Panonian Trance-Rhythms, Experiences from Mexico, cool & burning jazz, East and the West and the Planets, Universe, Microverse, Present Moment.
In May 2018 they’ve released their debut album, Dragon’s Fuel, with the newly founded label Horz.
